The institute is dedicated to improve wellbeing for everyone, globally. Our main goal is to reduce the high numbers of chronic diseases. In association with the world’s top Ayurvedic doctors, researchers and academic institutes we will conduct the SCIENCE OF LIFE Global Health Wellbeing programme.
We are focusing mainly on chronic diseases to promote prevention and after care by using personalised medicine Ayurveda. Our institute is a portal to stimulate collaboration and to start scientific research for chronic diseases. The data of the programme is going to be used for the research projects to improve the Global Health Wellbeing programme.
The funding of the research projects will be stimulated in collaboration through our ambassadors and international donors. Education in the science of Ayurveda will play a major role to reduce the number of patients with chronic diseases.

Dr. Anupama Kizhakkeveettil has travelled extensively different countries to propagate Ayurveda and has presented papers in various research national and international conferences. Many of these papers have been specially recognized at their respective conferences and has authored in various peer-reviewed journals. She also serves as peer reviewer for various conferences and journals. She is currently serving as Co-PI for a NIH funded research study.
Dr. Anu serves as a Board Member of the California Association of Ayurvedic Medicine, a nonprofit devoted to promoting Ayurvedic education, research, and practice in California. She also serves as a Board member of National Ayurvedic Medical Association which represent the Ayurvedic professions in the United States of America with the mission to promote the practice of Ayurveda. Dr. Anu also serves on the Research Working Group of the Academic Collaborative for Integrative Health, and served as an Action board member of American Public Health Association (APHA) for six years, helping to coordinate grassroots and grass tops advocacy activities. Apart from the above, Dr. Anu also serves as a President of the Athreya Herbs, an ayurvedic herbs company in US, and Vice President of Athreya Ayurvedic Integrative Health Center.

Cornelis is interested in nature, people and medicines. Naturally, he choose his profession in this direction. He studied pharmacology and physiology at Utrecht and became a research fellow working in different leading hospitals in the Netherlands, among them the famous Netherlands Cancer Institute, Antony van Leeuwenhoek. During one of his travels, He came in touch with AYURVEDA, the Mother of All Medicines. That was a big eye-opener for him because He witnessed for the first time how to treat a body as an INTEGRATED WHOLE taking body, mind, and soul in cooperation with the surrounding into account. He decided to stay in India and studied Ayurveda in Kerala, founded the Indo Dutch Art and Ayurveda Centre and practiced Ayurveda medicines ever since.
His skills have been acquired over 30 years involving in the Ayurvedic field. Back in the Netherlands, He founded Europa Ayurveda Centrum together with his wife Dr. V.P. Mohana Kumari and their son Vighnesh M. Peters. Together they form the inspirational driving force behind this institute. Europa Ayurveda Centrum (EAC) is an agricultural estate with 10 ha of land and buildings with treatment and research facilities. They are actively involved in research projects with the University of Wageningen, and the University of Utrecht from the Netherlands and the University of Munster from Germany with our Ayurveda herbal plants that we cultivate in our land.
Together with international knowledge institutes, SME's and hospitals in Europe and India we do scientific research into the effectiveness of traditional Ayurvedic herbal medicines.
2017-2020 a joined project with 27 partners in MEDUWA-Vecht(e) a collaborative partnership for innovation working on the entire medicine chain to avoid the environmental cycling of pharmaceuticals and multi-resistant bacteria through the soil, food, water, and air, and back to humans and animals. Our part is phytoremediation and the development of a herbal preparation with durable antimicrobial properties.

2014-2017: a collaboration between University of Utrecht department Veterinary Science, CAV den Ham, Poultry Farm F A M Uit Het Broek and Europa Ayurveda Centrum with a pilot study of the efficacy of Ayurveda treatment in Eimeria acervulina infected broiler chickens.
2013-2015: a collaboration between Wageningen University, Plant Research International (both part of Wageningen UR), the Canisius-Wilhelmina Hospital, Europa Ayurveda Centrum and EuroProxima BV with research on a traditional Ayurveda herbal preparation as a treatment for Diabetes Mellitus type 2

Since 2001 Dr. Antonio Morandi is the is Founder and Director of “Ayurvedic Point”, Milan, Italy and President of the Italian Scientific Society for Ayurvedic Medicine (S.S.I.M.A.). Awarded in 2003 with the honorary doctorate “Ayurveda Acharya” (Ayurvedic Institute Asthavaidyan Thrissur Thaikat Mooss’ SNA Oushadhasala, India), he is Head of Medical Education of the European Institute of Vedic Studies, Switzerland, and Professor of Ayurveda at the Master course in “Health Systems, Traditional and Non Conventional Medicine” University of Milano-Bicocca, Italy. He is Member of Non Conventional Medicines Committee of the Medical Council of Milan Province, Italy where he coordinates the Register of Medical Doctors expert in Ayurveda. Dr. Morandi is actively involved in several international clinical research projects in Ayurveda. He is member of the Research Advisory Board of AVTAR- AVT Institute for Advanced Research, Coimbatore, India, and also Co-Head of the Scientific Board of the INDRA - International Network for Development of Research in Ayurveda.
Dr. Morandi is Editor in Chief - International Office of the scientific research journal “Ancient Science of Life”. He is a lecturer on Ayurveda in several Universities, between these the Master in “Health Systems, Traditional and Non Conventional Medicines” University of Milano-Bicocca, and member of various scientific committees, editorial boards and author of numerous publications, Dr. Morandi is co-editor of the innovative book “An integrated view of Health and Well-being - Bridging Indian and Western Knowledge” (Springer). Dr.Morandi currently directs the Medical Ayurvedic Center “Ayurvedic Point “ in Milan, Italy.

Dr. Madan Thangavelu is a genome biologist with an unusually diverse academic background and range of research interests. He was born in 1959 in Trivandrum in the state of Kerala (India). Before Cambridge, he studied Agriculture and has a Bachelor’s degree in Agriculture and a Master’s in Plant Breeding and Genetics – both from Haryana Agricultural University, Hisar in the North Indian state of Haryana. As an Inlaks Foundation Scholar (1982 Trinity Hall) his Ph.D. in Molecular Genetics on the genes for the cytoskeletal protein actin was conducted at the erstwhile Plant Breeding Institute, Trumpington.
The study provided the first evidence for extensive tissue level expression of members of the very large family of actin genes in plants. His post-doctoral research experiences span areas in plant, fungal, bacterial and human cancer genomics. His current primary research interest is the development of single DNA molecule and single cell techniques for genome analysis. Following a PhD in Molecular Genetics from the University of Cambridge, his recent academic affiliations have included Research Fellowships at the Department of Oncology, University of Cambridge, Medical Research Council Cancer Cell Unit, Cambridge and Leverhulme Research Fellow, Medical Research Council Laboratory of Molecular Biology, Cambridge.
As a Leverhulme Foundation Research Fellow (1999) at the MRC-Laboratory of Molecular Biology MRC-LMB) and later as a Research Fellow at the Medical Research Council - Cancer Cell Unit and Department of Oncology, University of Cambridge he developed novel approaches and applications of single DNA molecule and single cell approaches for analysis of genomes and genome dynamics and genome variation. He is the inventor of the Molecular Copy Counting technique - very high resolution and high sensitive technique for describing genomic variation at the level of single cells and single DNA molecules.
These techniques are providing unusual insights into the highly plastic nature of the nuclear and mitochondrial genomes and the epigenome and novel ways to map and describe the dynamics of DNA changes in normal processes like aging and in human disease including cancer, cardiovascular diseases, metabolic diseases and various inherited diseases.
The techniques also point to uncertainty in biology which calls for complementary approaches for appreciating human health and disease particularly in the highly intractable areas of human aging, psychosomatic diseases and disease complexes where direct approaches are unlikely to yield results. He is the General Secretary, Board Member and Research Director, European Ayurveda Association.

Dr. Sandeep Nair is a Research Associate in the Department of Neurology and Complementary, since September 2011. Within this framework he has supervised a wide spectrum of Neurological conditions like Extrapyramidal Motor disorders especially with Patients suffering from Parkinson Syndrome, chronic CNS disorders with partly complicated progressions, as well as patients with diseases of the Peripheral nervous system such as Polyneuropathies and Pain syndromes. Under the guidance of Univ.Prof.Dr. Dr. med Przuntek, he has been working in different research projects like Influence of Vasthi and Ayurveda Diet in Microbiomics and Influence of Nasya in Olfactory dysfunction of Parkinsons Patients.
Dr. Sandeep is a former Assistant Professor of Panchakarma at PAMC Kannur. Dr Sandeep has completed his BAMS and MD in Panchakarma from Government Ayurveda College Trivandrum and MSc in Neurorehabilitation Research from Danube University, Krems, Austria. His area of study was“Repetitive Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation in Freezing of Gait in Parkinsons Patients”.

Dr. Supriya Bhalerao has more than 20 years of experience in Interdisciplinary research. She started her research career under the guidance of Late Dr. Shardini Dahanukar (a modern pharmacologist) at Ayurveda Research Center, KEM Hospital Mumbai in 1999. Currently, she is working as an Associate Professor and Head, Obesity-Diabetes lab at Interactive Research School for Health Affairs, Bharati Vidyapeeth Deemed to be University, Pune-India since 2013. Her lab has developed in vitro and in vivo models to evaluate the effect of Ayurvedic drugs and formulations. The lab has successfully completed randomized, controlled, clinical studies in these disease conditions. Currently, she is working on a clinical study involving yoga intervention in pre-diabetic individuals that is supported by the Department of Science & Technology, Govt. of India. Her lab is also involved in capacity building in Ayurveda related research methodology.
Dr Supriya has completed her MD and PhD in Ayurveda and Post-Graduate Diploma in Bioethics. Her areas of interest are Ayurvedic concepts and therapeutic procedures for management of metabolic diseases.
Prof. Kishor Patwardhan currently works for the Department of Kriya Sharir, Faculty of Ayurveda, Banaras Hindu University. His doctoral work was on identifying various issues, concerns and challenges of Ayurveda Education in India which he executed through a Nation-wide survey that involved Ayurveda students and teachers. He is involved in developing and evaluating different teaching-learning methods for Kriya Sharir. He has lectured in India and abroad on various topics such as Ayurveda physiology, academic writing, research methods, educational research, and education policy. He has received ‘AYUSH-sponsored Vaidya-Scientist Fellowship’ from TDU, Bengaluru. His research interests include Ayurveda biology, Ayurveda Education and Policies on Higher Education. He is a recipient of Dr. C Dwarikanath Award of Indian Association for the Study of Traditional Asian Medicine [IASTAM-India] for the year 2019. He is an Editor of the Journal of Ayurveda and Integrative Medicine. He has worked as a member of Scientific Advisory Committees of IPGT&RA (Jamnagar), CCRAS and School of Life Sciences, MAHE.
He is the coordinator and Principal Investigator of Ayurveda Network, a component under Subject-Based Network of PMMMNMTT scheme of MHRD, Government of India.
